1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Lergal platform, you agree to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of a firm or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
Lergal provides AI-assisted legal research, contract review, compliance tracking, and practice management tools. Output from the platform, including research answers and drafted documents, requires review by a qualified person before being relied upon. The platform does not provide legal advice.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting to access data you’re not authorized to access, or using the platform in a way that violates applicable law.
5. Confidentiality of Client Data
Matter and document content you upload remains yours. Our handling of that content is governed by our Privacy Policy and the confidentiality classification process described on our Security page.
6. Disclaimer
The platform is provided on an as-is basis. Lergal is a technology provider, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice or legal representation.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lergal’s liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited as set out in your subscription agreement.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
